another day in the big apple...work wasn't so bad..i keep getting stuff to do and although it's the same things basically, i learn a lot..the highlight of my day was finding out that the entire cast of SNL works on the floor above me..i decided i should pay more attention on the elevator from now on..what exactly have i been doing??

anyway, i debated on shopping after work, but since we had to go to this movie screening i decided to come home instead, besides i have all day tomorrow...so i came home, talked to andy some, got a GREAT package from my mom! yay! tortillas!! and the goods to make frito pie! and fruit roll-ups!!! and....chocolate..mom, i dont' really like it, but it disappeared in like 5 seconds from fellow roommates...anythign community here goes like hotcakes, it's great...hmm, i tried to nap for a little bit, but to no avail...

i looked for jobs, as i am officially on a pre-job-hunt until about mid-october when i'll start REALLY looking and i found a PERFECT job, it fits many criteria except for like one...1. it's in texas 2. it's in austin (one of the cities i prefer) 3. it's for a radio station 4. it's for an assistant producer position 5. the pay is average for what i should make coming right out of college ..i mean, a single girl could survive ok on it 6. i met not only the main requirements, but even some of the PREFERRED ones...YAY! that is so my job and i can only hope and pray that something that good will come up in 4 months...and hopefully be around the waco/temple/killeen area..sorry, i'm a hopeless romantic and i miss my boyfriend..anyway, then we left to go see our movie.."koyanisqutasa" or something along those lines..sorry i can't spell...we even got free popcorn and soda! yay!

the movie: it was basically just like a bunch of different images put together but they all represented the downfall of society. i thought it was great, i remember when joe showed us some of it in production methods 2...my favorite sequence was the fast paced city scene, but it started to make me dizzy after awhile...wow...anyways, then there was a little reception afterwards with an open bar and some cheese and weird tortilla roll thingies...i had some wine, but eh...after i went to barnes & noble to look for my screenwriting book with lauren & lindsey..i of course, didn't find it...neat. came back and got all comfortable, and then remembered i didn't eat dinner so i went with traci and caleb to eat at this place called "connally's" it was like a pub of some sort, and it was really good, so i woudl recommend that place to anyone it's just one street over on 45th..awesome..hmm, waht else?

wow i really thought that my entry would be a lot different or more exciting...i suppose not..wow i'm like really in my "missing boyfriend" mode...i really am about to start a countdown to nov. 19, because it's pretty much getting ridiculous that we probably won't be able to see each other until then and it's very obvious that we're going to be missing each other until that day!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH ..i miss my boyfriend :( *sigh*

until tomorrow...when i WILL be going shopping, i dont' care how much money i spend..i have it and i'm going to use it...at least i can say i ate well and have cute clothes...daaaaaang
